Q: I am 7 months pregnant and receiving insurance at work along with my husband, but this is under my plan at work. I don't know how much longer I am able to handle the severe stress that is coming along with this job and pregnancy. If I were to leave in 2 weeks how long would I get cobra for myself and my husband?
A:The maximum an employee, their spouse and dependent children can keep COBRA when the employee voluntarily leaves the job is 18 months.
