Q:  Sent in claims from son's delivery, claims not paid. I had to pay out of pocket.

A:  We are not your COBRA provider; we offer information about the Federal COBRA law.  If you signed up for COBRA through a previous employer your insurance carrier should be the same company as you had while working there.  You should contact your insurance carrier to make sure you insurance is active.  If your insurance is active you should ask how they would like to handle the situation to make sure your claims are paid.  If you insurance is not active you need to contact your previous employer’s human resources department or your COBRA administrator to see why your coverage is not active.
