Q:  How does cobra affect an employees wages or compensation?

A:  COBRA has no affect on the amount of money you make.  It is a law that allows you to continue your group benefits through a previous employer when you lose coverage.  By law a previous employer can charge you up to 102% of the group rate for your COBRA coverage.
