Q:  why did the cost go up and no one tell me? The state of wa pays my premium now i have to figure out if we are being billed properly


A:  Cobra is 102% of the monthly premium.  You pay what you previously did, what the employer was contributing, and 2% for Administrative Cobra costs.  Your previous employer should have informed you of the costs in the cobra packet. The employer is no longer responsible for the premiums.
