Q: Since I have a pre-existing condition (Diabetes type 2) I cannot choose an alternative plan and I don't see any other options for enrollment with regular Cobra. How do I enroll in regular Cobra?
A: You have to contact your previous employer to obtain your Cobra packet to extend your coverage. Cobra will cover any pre-existing conditions and is retro-active to the date your insurance ended. No lapses.
