Q:  I recently left my job and now I am being offered COBRA. My question is can elect to cover myself for medical and elect to cover myself and dependents for dental coverage? My dependents do not need the medical coverage.

A:  Your previous employer will be mailing out a Cobra packet.  It is up to you to enroll in the Cobra plan.  You may need to check with your employer about keeping certain dependents on the plan.
