Q:  I have been on layoff and enrolled under COBRA, now I quit my job, am I entitled to another 18 months of COBRA coverage?

A:  If there is at least 20 or more employees at your work and you were not dismissed for gross misconduct, then YES.  You can contact your employer regarding the continuation of your Cobra Benefits.

Cobra is a federal law that allows you to continue on your group health insurance with your previous employer.  The cost of Cobra is figured based on what you previously paid, plus what your employer contributed, plus 2% for administrative costs.
