Q:  I hear that possibly your previous employer may pick up to 65% of your Cobra premium if you lost your job due to a recent layoff...is this also true if you are on Cobra and your job ended voluntarily when you moved out of state?? I have Cobra and am paying the entire premium. But I did move from CA to NV and didn't lose my job in CA...I left it to move back to NV.

A:  We have no connection to the Federal Government.  If you are looking for information on the stimulus package and how it will affect your COBRA coverage, you should contact the Federal Department of Labor, they regulate the COBRA law.  The department of labor’s phone number is 866-444-3272 or visit their website at www.dol.gov
