Q:  How do I sign up for cobra involving the new law and will we be considered to have pre existing conditions.

 

A:  If you have pre-existing health conditions, your best option would be to continue your coverage with COBRA.  It is just a continuation of your exact same coverage you had when previously employed.  To get information and enroll with COBRA you need to contact your previous employer for a COBRA PACKET.  Talk with the HR department and they should be able to answer any questions you have.  As well as any questions you have with being eligible for the stimulus.  For more information with the stimulus you can contact the Department of Labor at 866-444-3272 or visit the website at www.dol.gov
