Q: I have worked with a company that had only 5 employees. Am I still eligible for COBRA?
A: Generally, a company is subject to the provisions of COBRA when the have 20 or more "employee's" on at least 50% of the typical business days during the preceding year.

Am I understanding COBRA correctly? If we have under 20 employees we do not qualify for COBRA? Are there any exceptions? We have 13 full time and 1 part time employees and that includes the president and vice president???
Thanks
