Q:  PLEASE HELP I HAD KAISER FOR 6 YRS LOST MY JOB AND HAVE NO INSURANCE WHAT DO I DO??????

A:  If you worked for a company that employed 20 or more employees and they still have a group plan in effect you could possibly be eligible for Cobra.  When you lost your job if you company met those requirements I just stated, they should have sent you a Cobra packet.  They by law have 45 days to send you that information.  Cobra is a continuation of your coverage you had when you were employed.  The premiums will change and go up quite drastically because your employer will not be contributing like when you were employed.  If you have no pre-existing conditions and are looking for short term coverage while you look for another job that offers group health insurance feel free to CLICK HERE for a free quote!
