Q:  Is acne a preexisting condition? If so, can cobra deny me coverage?

A:  Acne would be considered a pre-existing condition.  If you are being treated or have been treated under a physicians care for acne it would be considered pre-existing.  Cobra however can not deny you, Cobra is just the continuation of the same coverage you had when you were previously employed.  They cannot deny you due to that.  If you were to go through another insurance provider and apply for coverage, they would consider your acne a pre-existing condition.
