Q:I am 66 years and I’ll be going part time in 2009. I will know longer have insurance with my employer. I will be going on Medicare. Can my spouse get Cobra insurance? She was on my policy that ends at the end of the year.
A:As long as when you were working you were on a group health plan and had insurance through your employer, your wife will be eligible for Cobra.
