Q: I have read that there is no coverage on pre existing medical conditions. I am little confused. Is this insurance only for the people w/ no medical conditions? I am currently taking a medication for my liver. I need to take this medication everyday till further notice from my doctor. My question is, if I get insurance from your company and I eligible to get this medication through your insurance plan. Thanks
A: For our temporary plans pre-existing conditions are not covered. All of our temporary plans come with a Drug Card America card that offers you a discount on your prescriptions. It offers up to 50% off of generic and up to 15% off of name brand prescriptions. If you were to have to visit a doctor for anything pertaining to what your medications are for, it would not be covered due to the fact that it is pre-existing. The temporary plans cover all new illness and injuries.
