Q:  Am I eligible for lower payments with the stimulus government package. Also can my cobra be extended?

 

A:  To be eligible for the stimulus package you would need to contact your previous employer to see if it would affect your Cobra coverage.  The stimulus would be eligible for up to 9 months and as far as the extension you would need a second qualifying event.  To see if you are eligible for a continuation, contact your previous employers HR department or their 3rd party administer.
