Q:  If I were to change jobs, what would my conversion monthly premiums be? May I still keep my health, life, dental, vision and disability? How long would my Cobra insurance continue before I need to enroll in another program?

A:  COBRA allows employees that leave or are discharged (the exception being discharged for gross misconduct) to continue the group plan for up to 18-months.  The separated employee can elect to continue all of their plan elections or to elect a portion, for example if you had medical and dental coverage, you can just elect the medical through COBRA.  Premiums for COBRA are specific to the individual employers group plan rates and the previous employer or their benefits admisistrator can provide this information to you.
