Q:  Sir/Madam, Currently me and my wife are covered under insurance provided by my employer. We have a plan which covers medical + dental for me and my wife. My question is - 1. After I loose my job, can I have a COBRA medical coverage for my wife ALONE. I would not like to continue with my medical nor dental coverage. Thank You

A:  If after you job is terminated and you wife alone wants to opt for the Cobra coverage, she can do so.  You don’t have to take the Cobra coverage as well.  One or another or both can take the Cobra coverage.  However, I recommend you find some sort of coverage for you due to the fact you don’t ever want to be without insurance.  If you would like a quote on something short term that I would be able to offer you feel free to get a free quote by simply CLICKING HERE!!
