Q:I was let go for reasons other than gross misconduct. My ex-employee has a "help pitch in" to the insurance deductible premium for employees do I still get that if I’m under COBRA continuation?
A:As far as my understanding for Cobra goes, that when you are on Cobra you are solely the only one paying for that coverage. When you are on your group health plan, the employer normally contributes to helping pay the premium, but when you are on Cobra you would be the one paying for the whole premium alone. If you feel that your employer is going to be contributing I would recommend talking with them directly to see what there policy is.
