Q:  Who is an eligible individual?

 

A:  An eligible individual is someone who was involuntarily terminated from there position during the period of Sept 1st, 2008 through December 31, 2009 and are eligible to enroll with Cobra.  An employee with (MAGI) or modified adjusted gross income, exceeds $250,000 for a joint return or $125,000 for individual will not be eligible for the full subsidy.  The subsidy will be not an option for those with MAGI of $145,000/$290,000.
