Q:  How are premiums for domestic partners bifurcated (split up)?

A:  If you and a domestic partner are on a group health plan together and then continue your coverage through Cobra.  The employee whom worked will be eligible for the subsidy on there portion of the premium and the domestic partner will have to pay full premium with no reduction in cost to make up the difference.  If you and a domestic partner are on a group health plan with dependents as a family, the entire premium will be subject to the subsidy.
