Q:  We have just found out that my husband's employer has canceled the cobra coverage given to his laid-off employees. He did the without notifying us. Can he do this?

A:  The only way he could have cancelled the Cobra coverage is if he dropped the group health plan at the company.  If there is no longer a group health plan in force then there is no plan for you to continue on and use Cobra.  You are going to need to contact him directly and verify as to why the coverage was dropped.
