Q:  I worked and got laid off in February and still haven’t heard anything from Cobra insurance was with med cost.

 

A:  If your company employees more than 20 employees and still have a group health plan in force then Cobra is going to be an option.  By law you previous employer has 45 days to send you information on how to apply for your Cobra coverage.  If you have not yet received that paperwork you are going to need to contact your employer directly to verify why not.
