Q:  My last day of employment was April 30, 2009. I still have not received any information on how to apply for my cobra benefits. Who do I contact for this information. I have tried contacting my previous employer but they were of no help. thank you

A:  The person that is going to supply you with that information on how to apply for Cobra, actually is your previous employer.  They by law have 45 days to send you the information to apply for your Cobra coverage, it does then go retro-active to your last day of benefits.
