Q:  I just applied for cobra, and I can’t find a single doctor or hospital who will take cobra. I can’t get through on the phone. I would like a list of who will take cobra, or to then cancel.

A:  COBRA is a federal law that allows you to continue your exact same benefits from when you were working, therefore it is the same coverage you had.  If you have questions about your coverage if you will be receiving new insurance cards, I would recommend calling your previous employers HR department and asking them if they can help you or if they can put you in contact with your COBRA administrator who can answer those questions for you.
