Q:  I need health insurance to cover a 16 day gap, from August 16th through August 31st. I am covered by my employers through August 15th and after September 1st. On one hand, it seems that I am not allowed to purchase less than 30 days of coverage through Cobra. On the other hand, it appears that coverage purchased through Cobra cannot overlap with any other coverage. The two requirements seem to conflict in my case. Is it possible to cover this gap through Cobra?

A:  I can offer you a minimum of 30 days of coverage through a Cobra alternative, you can give me a call directly, at 877-279-7959 ex 219 or click the following link to generate a quote to see what we have to offer: Short Term Medical Quotes  These plans would cover you for all new illness and all new injury.
