Q:I know that if the company is closing we can't COBRA but it the company is going to check into alternate coverage for us, do they still pay 65 % of the coverage?
A:If Cobra isn’t an option to you than neither unfortunately is the Cobra stimulus.To be able to receive the 65% reduction Cobra has to be available to you.Therefore, if they are looking into other options that’s fantastic, but it most likely is not going to be subject to the 65% reduction.
