Q:    If my husband retires and is eligible for Medicare am I still allowed to get medical coverage?

A:    Being entitled for Medicare is a qualifying event. If your husband elects Medicare and comes off of the employers insurance, you as a dependant will be eligible for COBRA for up to 36 months. Please contact the employer for full details.
