Q:  My Company terminated my COBRA Ins. My premiums are up to date. My company could be changing INS Companies. Can they still terminate?

A:  If they are changing insurance companies your Cobra should be able to change over as well, you would need to speak with the employer or the Cobra administrator the person handling your benefits.  As far as if they can terminate your insurance, if the company closes and they cancel the group health plan than they can terminate the coverage.  To my understanding that would be the only reason they could or should.  I would talk to your past employers HR department and see if they can tell you as to why they cancelled it or if you can get your COBRA to continue on the new insurance plan they have in force at the company.
