Q: Can I get Cobra insurance if I leave the job I have now but go to work for another company without benefits?  And for how long?

A:  As long as your employer has more than 20 employees   you can  continue on your COBRA coverage for up to 18 months. You can continue COBRA for any reason, except if you get another insurance policy through an employer or an individual policy. .
