Q:  I am a provider of service for a client who had the COBRA insurance for 1 month. Where do I submit insurance claim forms for her services? She previously had BCBS. They did not cover her for that 1 month. Do I submit the claim again and tell them it is covered under COBRA? Thanks for your help.

A:  Cobra is a law, not a company that allows an individual to continue their health insurance.  It is the same exact insurance they had through their past employer.  If they are having trouble as far as verifying their coverage or benefits they need to call their past employer to get the number of their Cobra administrator.  They need to speak with them to find out where to submit claims and their benefits status.
