Q:Was the COBRA discount part of the recent vote in congress to extend first time homebuyer credit and if so will it be extended too. If not part of the tax credit is there talk of extending?
A:I don’t believe they have extended the Cobra reduction; you can go to www.dol.gov/COBRA to see if you can find any other information but to my understanding they have not extended the duration of the premium reduction for Cobra.
