Q:  I recently was laid off from my job and have an option to elect COBRA. However, I am to be married in 2 weeks and will be on my new wife's health insurance at that time. I don't want to be without health insurance for the next 2 weeks. What should I do? Should I send in the paperwork for COBRA and cancel it in 2 weeks?

A:  You could elect Cobra for one month and then cancel it when you no longer need it.  Or you can view the alternative option available to you; you can take a 30 day plan out to tide you over for the gap until you become eligible for your wife’s insurance.  To view the quotes simply click the following link or call me at 877-279-7959 x 219   http://www.quoteintelligence.com/launch.aspx?refnumber=000006972-026-972&roi=email
