Q:  Are my prescriptions covered under COBRA?

A:   Yes. The COBRA law allows you and your beneficiaries to continue on the exact same coverage that you had with the group health plan. Group health plans generally consist of dental insurance, vision insurance, prescription plans and HSA's. A qualified beneficiary is able to continue those extra benefits only if they were insured with them prior to the qualifying event.
