Q:I have not received COBRA information from being terminated 11/01/09.
A:From the last day you had benefits, your past employer has 45 days by law to send you your COBRA packet of information. You may have been terminated the 1st but your benefits possibly through the end of November. You would need to speak with your past employer to verify when your benefits ended and that the COBRA packet is being mailed to you.To be eligible for COBRA your past employer also has to have at least 20 employees.
