Q:I had a medical leave for major surgery. I am unable to return to my work at my old capacity. There are no other positions available. Would my work terminate me because of inability to do my job due to medical reasons be involuntary terminated?
A:It depends on the Company and possibly how long you are going to be out of work or if never able to return to that position because of inability to do the tasks its possible over time they may terminate. You would have to speak to your employer and ask them what their requirements are, if they have time off, or disability. You ultimately need to speak to your employer to see what their terms are.
