Q:  Dear Cobra Insurance, Effective June 30th I have just been notified by my employer I will be laid off. I know you have the information on-line, but I was wondering if it would be possible to send an information packet to me in the mail.

A:  When you lose your benefits your past employer (if you are eligible) will supply you with your Cobra packet and information.  We are a Company that offers Alternative plans, I can help you with one of those or you can view information on that by clicking the below link.  If you want to continue your same benefits that you have now, you have to get that information from the employer that you will be laid off of.  For Cobra to be an option, you have to have more than 20 employees and a group health plan still in force.
