Q:  I was recently married and lost my medical/health coverage and was wondering the best plan to continue getting my bipolar medication.

A:  If you lost your Insurance through a parent because you are now married, if you call that employers HR Department and ask them for a COBRA packet you should be able to continue your same benefits.  You can possibly continue on COBRA until you can get Insurance through your spouse or if you have a job that offers Insurance through the group.  If COBRA isn’t an option, if you contact your State Department of Insurance they may have a mini-COBRA through your State that may be available.
