Q:  I was discharged from my job for violating a company policy and wanting to know if I would still be able to utilize the Obama stimulus, paying 35% of cobra premiums vs 100%.

A:  Cobra is an option to you when you lose your benefits through an employer, if they said it was due to gross misconduct than they don’t have to offer you this coverage.  You would first need to verify that Cobra is in fact an option to you.  If it is, the stimulus information would be in your Cobra packet you receive from the employer.  It would let you know if you qualify, the reduction is for people who are involuntarily terminated, are not eligible for Medicare or other Insurances.
