Q:  I recently left a position and was told Cobra information would be sent and that my insurance would continue without interruption.  I have not received anything and it has been a month.  When should I receive this information? Thanks

A:  When you lost your job either you past employer, or a 3rd party administrator will send you a COBRA packet in the mail, by law they have 45 days from the day you lose your benefits to supply you with that packet.  If you have not yet received that packet I would recommend calling your past employer to see when you will be receiving that information.
