Q:   How long does my COBRA coverage last?

A:  Your length of coverage is determined by your qualifying event.

18 months: job termination(quit or got “let go”), reduction of working hours

 

36 months:  death, divorce, legal separation, loss of child dependant status, and the entitlement to Medicare.
