Q:  By law does the Company I just left 21 days ago have to offer me Cobra Ins?  They have not yet?

A:  If you were on the group health plan when you were working, if your Company has more than 20 employees and still has a group health plan in force, Cobra should be an option to you.  By law, your past employer has 45 days from your last day of benefits to supply you with your Cobra information and enrollment packet.  So its possible they have not mailed it to you yet, you can always call the past employers Benefits Department to be sure its an option to you, and that they will be mailing you the information needed.
