Q:  My husbands been with company for 6 month, 3 months ago made his probation we have health coverage now.  He is faced with termination or quitting, will we still qualify for cobra under these circumstances?

A:  As long as your husbands company has more than 20 employees and a group health plan still in force, Cobra should be an option to you.  It doesn’t matter how you leave your job, quit or fired Cobra should be an option to you.   You would need to get your Cobra information from the HR Department of his employer.
