Q: After termination of your employment, do you have to accept all of insurance benefits (Health, Dental & Vision) under COBRA? Currently my entire family my spouce and two children are on my health plan at work. Am I allowed just to accept the health insurance only for my husband and I, and not my children? ( I can put my children on another plan far less expensive)

A:  You will be allowed to choose any or all of the coverages that you had with your previous employer.  On the election form ( that you will get from your employer) you will be able to select only the coverages you want.   You will also have option to elect who you want to continue the COBRA coverage.
