Q:  I am currently on disability for about 8 months being treated for cancer.  Not working, does that trigger a reduction in hours and COBRA Insurance?

A: It would depend on your status as an employee.   To be eligible for COBRA an event must have occurred that caused you to lose your group benefits.  If your employer has ended your group benefits because we are not working enough hours or no hours to have full-time employee benefits, then, yes you would be eligible for COBRA continuation.
