Q: When I left my last job I didn't receive any of the cobra insurance forms. I would like to use this, so I won't go without insurance. Will you please help me with this information. If you would please send me a new form.
A:If your previous employer has more than 20 employees and you were on the group health insurance before you left, you are eligible for COBRA continuation.Your employer is legally responsible for sending you theCOBRA packet within 45 days from your last day of work or the last day of your group benefits. If you have not received your paperwork or need a duplicate election you need to contact your previous employer.
