Q: If an insurance plan states that coverage is provided "between the ages of 18 and 23", does this include the age of 23?
A: Each insurance company has there own rules and stipulations regarding dependant care and the age limit. You will have to contact then insurance carrier that you have to verify coverage dates and ages. If you are no longer considered a dependant to your parents insurance, then COBRA will be an option for you to extend the same coverage. You will want to talk to Human Resource Dept and ask for an election letter to be sent to you.
