Q: My son was born with Hydrocephalus and I am currently covered by other insurance with my job. I am leaving my job in November and I know they will offer me Cobra but will this even cover him?
A:COBRA is a continuation of your previous employer's group health policy. COBRA continuation must provide you with the same coverages, same benefits that you had when you were employed.So, if you have coverage now for his medical condition then you will have coverage for it through COBRA.
