Q: Who do I contact being that I paid my previous employer for 2 months of continued coverage and they never reinstated my insurance benefits. They took my check for over $1100.00, cashed it, and I still have no insurance!!! Aren't there laws to protect us from this?  Please help me!

A: If your employer is not complying with the federal law, then you should contact the Department of Labor at 1-866-487-2365 or visit their web site at www.dol.gov
