Q:  Our company has a bundled package for our employees health insurance to include medical, RX dental and vision. One employee that got caught up in a "downsizing" wants to choose just the medical plan so she can pay can pay less for Cobra because of a financial hardship to pay the whole premium for the bundled package. Do we have to let her select just the medical? Thanks

A:  COBRA is a continuation of health insurance or any benefit that is considered "Medical Care".  This would include dental, vision and prescription drugs.  The employee has the right to choose only the benefits they need.   They do not have to take entire group package to be eligible for COBRA continuation.
