Q:  Is attempted suicide covered under Cobra or any health insurance policy?

A:  COBRA is a continuation of an employer's group health plan.  You will need to contact your benefits manager for coverage information.  You can also call the insurance company, there should be a phone number on the back of your ID card and they can tell you your plan's benefits.  Most individual insurance plans do not provide coverage for self-inflicted injuries or suicides.
